The Client Panel was devised in April 2018 as a method of managing website
feature requests as well as managing work and monitoring how much time is spent
on one request.
Jambour Digital now requires that all feature requests are on the Client Panel so that
it is clear how many hours have been put into one feature.
There are three types of communication in the Client Panel. The first is through
requests. This is what happens when a request is made. The second is through
responses. A response can be made by anyone who has access to the request -
for example someone who also manages the feature request for the same website
can also comment. A super user can comment on any website at any time. The final
type of communication is when a request is marked as complete. This only happens
once a feature has been finished.
Once a request has been marked as complete it and corresponding responses
can no longer be edited.
The Client Panel offers the following features to all users:
Receive and respond to responses on requests
Add multiple documents as attachments to a request or a response
View historical requests
Add priority levels to requests
Request new feature or bug fixes
